Some recipes do not need heat. Just a sharp knife, a large bowl, and a little patience. This marinated cucumber salad is one of those simple dishes that quietly steals the spotlight at the table. While the main course cooks, this salad chills in the refrigerator, soaking up all the tangy, lightly sweet dressing. By the time you are ready to serve, it is crisp, refreshing, and perfectly cold.

The combination of fresh cucumbers, juicy tomatoes, and thinly sliced onions creates a bright and colorful dish. The vinegar dressing adds a clean, zesty flavor balanced with a touch of sugar. A little oil brings everything together, coating each piece so every bite tastes balanced and flavorful. It is light, fresh, and perfect for warm days, family dinners, or backyard gatherings.

  3. Combine
Pour the marinade over the vegetables. Add the oil and toss gently to coat everything evenly. If using fresh mint, stir it in at this stage.

  4. Chill
Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour. Stir once or twice while chilling to help the flavors distribute evenly.

Serve cold and enjoy the crisp texture and bold, refreshing flavor. The longer it sits, the better it tastes.
