Ingredients
Marinade:
• ¼ cup lime juice
• ¼ cup soy sauce
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 tbsp chili powder
• 1 tsp ground cumin
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1 tsp dried oregano
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fajitas:
• 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
• 2 tbsp vegetable oil
• 1 large onion, thinly sliced
• 2 bell peppers, sliced
• Flour tortillas
Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, guacamole, salsa
Instructions
Marinate for maximum flavor
Whisk together all marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add sliced steak, coat well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (longer = deeper flavor).
Sear the steak
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a hot skillet. Cook the marinated steak until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and keep warm.
Cook the veggies
Add remaining oil to the skillet. Sauté onions and bell peppers until tender and lightly caramelized.
Bring it together
Return steak to the pan, toss everything together, and heat for about 1 minute so the flavors combine.
Serve hot
Warm tortillas, fill with steak and veggies, and add your favorite toppings. Roll, serve, and enjoy the sizzle!
Bold, juicy, and packed with color—these steak fajitas turn any meal into a celebration. Serve with rice and beans or enjoy straight from the skillet… either way, they disappear fast!
