Ingredients
Dough
• 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
• 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
Filling
• 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
• 1 cup Alfredo sauce
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella
• ½ cup grated Parmesan
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp Italian seasoning
• ¼ tsp black pepper
• ¼ tsp salt (optional)
Topping (Optional but recommended)
• 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
• 1 tbsp grated Parmesan
• ½ tsp dried parsley
Instructions
Preheat the oven
Set oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the filling
In a bowl, mix chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, and seasonings until well combined and creamy.
Tip: If the sauce seems thin, add a little extra Parmesan to thicken it.
Roll the dough
Divide dough into 4 equal portions. Roll each into a circle about 7–8 inches wide.
Fill and seal
Spoon filling onto one half of each dough circle, leaving a small border. Fold over to form a half-moon and press edges firmly with a fork to seal.
Add finishing touches
Brush tops with beaten egg. Cut a few small slits to vent steam. Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley if using.
Bake and rest
Bake 18–22 minutes until golden and puffed. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving so the filling sets.
Warm, creamy, and perfectly golden — this Chicken Alfredo Calzone turns simple ingredients into a cozy, irresistible meal you’ll want to make again and again.
